Drawing upon his skills and experiences, Mike Stevens has created a unique 6-week program at his On Target Golf School.

One of the most thoroughly researched golf improvement programs ever offered, it’s designed to give you a repeatable swing that you can count on for the rest of your golfing life. Tested by biomechanics and mechanical engineers, the program will help you learn to make the proper swing movements and then commit them to memory so you can repeat them over and over without even thinking about them. The process takes 6 weeks.

As Mike points out; whether you’re a rank beginner or seasoned veteran, if you have to think about what you are doing when you swing a golf club, you’re not good at it, and statistics show that improving your distance and accuracy is the quickest way to lower your scores on the course.

The classes are fun and enjoyable, and after the 6 weeks you’ll be able to zero in on the pin.

*Upon completion of the 6 week class there is an optional 2 hour short game class devoted entirely to Pitching, Putting, Chipping and Sand Shots (Note: A $20 discount off the normal $50 fee is provided to students who complete the 6 week program). Students can also return for "free tune- ups" any time or even repeat the entire session for one year after their completion date at no charge. After one year students can retake the entire 6 week session for a nominal fee of $30.

Stevens Honored by US Golf Teachers Federation

Mike Stevens was inducted into the United States Golf Teachers Federation Hall of Fame at the World Golf Teachers Championships held at Orange County National Golf Club.

Stevens Helps USA Team Defeat Euopean Team

Pinehurst, NC - Mike Stevens was undefeated and contributed 3 points as Team USA defeated their European counterparts 14 – 10 in the Hickory Grail matches at the Dormie Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The Americans regained the Grail Cup lost two years ago in Falsterbo, Sweden.

The Hickory Grail is a twelve sided match between European and American golfers playing with hickory shafted clubs popular between 1900 and 1930. The first Grail matches were played in 2000 at the Kilspindie Golf Club in Aberlady, Scotland. In the first year the match was singles only, but subsequent formats have included foursomes and fourballs in the Ryder Cup matches. The two teams play for an antique water pitcher, donated by John Crow Miller of Texas and his family and it has been affectionately christened “The Hickory Grail.”
