I gave my first lesson in 1973 to a fellow soldier where I was stationed in New Jersey. I did not even charge for it. It was most satisfying, and he developed into a decent golfer. I knew then what my calling in life would be. Now some 47 years later and at age 70, it is time to take down the shingle. I will be retiring in June to spend as much time as possible with my wife, four young grandchildren, and daughters. I have been blessed to be able to work at something I love. The people I have met and the places I have travelled provided me with the most memorable time I could have ever imagined.
